Yes, depending on the plant. All you have to do is increase the amount of sunlight a plant gets by an hour and see how that goes. If, after a week, the plant shows no signs of sunburn, give it another hour and so on. Just do it gradually.
This works well with things like Kalanchoe, Echeveria and Sempervivum because these like full sun anyway. However, it probably wouldn't work as well for a classic jade or Peperomia because these prefer more shade.
