As far as care is concerned, the plants will probably come to you with very dry soil. We try to ship them dry so they don't rot in transit. For most plants, I would water them as soon as they get out of the box. I'll post another article about the first steps that should be taken when unpacking one of our boxes here.
You could also do advanced ordering, which may be beneficial in this case. If you want to ask about that, my colleagues at info@mountaincrestgardens.com will be more helpful than I could be.
