'Blue Spruce' can spread around 2 feet wide.
As far as how fast it can spread is concerned, that depends on many different factors like sunlight availability, water availability, soil quality, and fertilizer. It's difficult to say but, as a general rule, it can spread 1"-2" per month in the growing season. What I can say is that it spreads very quickly, if cared for properly, and, if you're not careful, can coke out slower growing plants.
