Many pastel succulents are soft, like Echeveria, so for most of the continental US, the answer is no.
However, if where you live is frost free year around, you can keep them outside. The issue isn't the outside, the issue is the frost. You can even grow them outside until freezing temperatures show up on the weather forecast, and then bring them inside for the winter.
