Great question!
These Aloe plants are very heat and drought tolerant. They grow natively on the west side of Africa, roughly around Nigeria. Here, it can get very hot and very dry.
For starters, these plants need a nice gritty soil that will drain water effectively. Cactus or succulent soil is great, but if you just have potting soil, add a little sand, perlite, or pumice to help drainage.
These plants also need strong sunlight, and once they're acclimated to full sun, give them as much of it as you can. They can tgrow in partial shade, but the more sun, the better the colors you'll get.
Finally water. I'm putting this one last because it'll be your last priority. This plant is very drought tolerant. Once you get your plant in a good gritty soil, and have a good full sun spot to put it, then you can give it a good watering. After this, wait until the soil is bone dry before watering it again.
Good luck and I hope this helps!
