Yes! 'Plum Dazzled' does have a dark purple color. However, in order to achieve this color, you need a lot of extra light and a small drought. If you get this plant and give it full sun, and only water it once every week and a half, then I bet you'll see that dark purple color.
We don't see that color in our greenhouses yet because we don't give it that extra light and we water more regularly to make shipping easier. I hope this all helps!
