Good question!
'Lime Twister' can survive in zone 4 temperatures, however, when the temperature starts getting very cold, the above ground foliage might die back to focus its resources on maintaining it's more valuable root system. Then, when it starts to warm up, it regrows this foliage.
You certainly don't have to bring it inside during the winter, but it won't look nice outside during a zone 4 winter until it starts to warm up again. I hope this helps!
