I don't usually fertilize succulent plants. I think they do alright without fertilizer, but I've heard you can get them to grow very well, and quickly, if you do.
I would recommend using a dilute solution of liquid fertilizer once a week, and only during the growing season. Only use 1/4 strength fertilizer on your mature plants. I really wouldn't bother fertilizing young plants, the nitrogen will burn them. It's possible but you may need to go down to 1/8 strength, and at that point it seems like you'd just be watering normally anyway. I hope this helps!
